The prices stated above are for cats sharing a room. Shared rooms are only compatible for cats from the same family. The prices are inclusive of bedding, litter and heating.
Payment
We operate a minimum 4-day charge (no exceptions)
For July only we operate a minimum 7 – day charge.
Payment must be paid in full, upon collection of your cat.
Payments are accepted in cash only. (we do not have a facility to accept card payments).
The day of arrival, day of departure and all days booked are charged for.
Enhanced rates are charged as a surcharge of an additional £10 per cat on:
- Christmas day
- Boxing Day
- New Year’s Day
Customer Contact
We shall send you one text to reassure you that your cat is fine. Please remember we run a busy cattery and additional contact cannot be arranged as it can impede the smooth running of the cattery.
House of Siam supply all bedding, blankets, scratching posts, toys and feeding bowls.
(PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY OF THESE ITEMS FROM HOME)
Items to bring with you on arrival
Your vaccination certificate must be up to date (your cat shall not be admitted without this document), Food for your cat and any Medication – if required.
The vaccination certificate shall be inspected on admission and shall be retained by House of Siam for the duration of your cats stay.
Medication
If your cat has a medical condition we can administer medication.(There shall be an additional charge of £2 per cat per day).
House of Siam can only administer medication which has been prescribed by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
All medication must have clear instructions and shall be stored securely in our medical cabinets.
Isolation Unit
In the event that any cat becomes ill, we offer a very spacious isolation unit that is housed completely separate from our Cattery. This ensures the comfort and well being of the other boarding guests.
If any boarding guest becomes unwell, veterinary assistance shall be sought as a matter of urgency and the owner shall be contacted.
Bookings
Bookings must be made and confirmed by phone only.
Contact us by phone to ascertain availability.
On the day of arrival, you shall be greeted in our office and asked to complete a booking form which includes all your details.
Cancellations
We would ask that should your travel plans change that you give us as much notice as possible to enable us to offer your room to another guest, as we may operate a waiting list at peak times.
Vaccinations
Cats shall not be boarded without an up to date vaccination certificate.
(MUST HAVE VACCINATIONS AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO BOARDING)
Drop Off and Collection
Dates and times shall be confirmed at time of booking. If there are any changes to your dates/times you need to contact us (ie flight delays etc) to rearrange for the next available drop off/collections time.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO COME OUTSIDE OF DROP OFF/COLLECTION TIMES AS A REFUSAL OFTEN OFFENDS
Travel
If your cat suffers from car sickness, we suggest not feeding it prior to the journey. Please transport your cat in a suitable, secure pet carrier (NO BROKEN DOORS). The carrier shall be retained by House of Siam for the duration of the stay in case of any emergency.
